World Multiple Sclerosis Day: MULTI-ACT broadcasted on Italian TV

On the occasion of World Multiple Sclerosis Day on 30 May 2020, the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Society Foundation (FISM) – as the MULTI-ACT coordinator and the leading funding agency of research in the field of multiple sclerosis (MS) in Italy – was live broadcasted on the Italian regional television, TeleGenova. The topic “Multiple Sclerosis and COVID-19″ was covered to tackle challenges faced by people with multiple sclerosis in this time of emergency. Furthermore, the MULTI-ACT Patient Engagement Guidelines, launched on the occasion of World MS Day, were presented as well. You can watch the recorded broadcasting here:

30 May marked also the beginning of the National Multiple Sclerosis Week in Italy, which is an event that the FISM organizes on an annual basis under the High Patronage of the Presidency of the Italian Republic, to inform and raise awareness on multiple sclerosis. This week full of events is an opportunity for people living with multiple sclerosis and other relevant stakeholders to talk with neurologists and researchers who will share the state-of-the-art research in the field. You can have a look at the calendar of the Italian National MS Week here.
